Driven by my colleague, Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, we have tabled a bold proposal for the future of EU research funding: Horizon 2020. It's a programme which will make it easier to get support, easier to bring good ideas to market, and easier for Europe to invest in innovation for the future.

For all the rest... kudos. We value much the serious work Neelie and her team are doing. Courage!, and continue with it! It is just we feel frustrated when we see that the advances do not seem to match the challenges, which also continue growing month by month.
