We know how great it is, but our problem is all the people on slow, unreliable and expensive connections. All over Europe, not just in my country. The problem is that the 'developed' world has such good phone networks, and the incumbents are using them for 'broadband'. It should really be called narrowband, it is not suitable for what it is being asked to do. It has been great for people near exchanges, but it is useless for the rest and costs the same price. If something isn't easy, ubiquitous and affordable, people will remain analogue. Simple as that.
