People can get bogged down with the word 'fast'. The incumbents assure us that 'up to' 30 meg is fast. Its the quality, latency, resilience that needs to be shown to be fit for purpose that matters. The only futureproof way to provide whatever is defined as 'fast' today is with fibre. Any attempts to patch up obsolete copper must NOT be funded, as it will only make the pain last longer. A fibre is unlimitless, once its laid it can be made to deliver whatever the customer wants at very little cost. Unlike copper which is expensive to maintain and expensive to upgrade. Fibre just works.
