Keep up the good work but the open platform isn't unconditionally built on competition, as competition probably would tear it apart. Before the open platform could provide for competition above and below the platform, the competitive characteristics of the platform have to be encapsulated, managed or removed. Otherwise competition will tear us apart :( The open platform is primarily built on the common understanding that a platform would best support extrinsic competition as the extent of intrinsic competition is low.
