You are not encouraging healthy EU telecoms players. The bureaucracy surrounding funding plays to their advantage and innovative solutions get no support. The big telcos call the shots and continue to milk their cash cows, ie the old phone networks. This leaves too many citizens on long line lengths at the wrong side of the digital divide. Until every citizen has a fit for purpose connection we'll never catch up with the countries who do.
