To do this we have to educate people, starting when they are young. We can never be in control until we know how things work. Coding is a great base to start with, as it leads to algorithmic thinking which is one of the new building blocks of education. Make coding fun, and the kids will pick it up and run with it, and in doing so will become our guardians of the future. Leave the kids in the dark with boring lessons and we'll all stay in the dark.
