It boosts creativity because people are forced to be original in their creativity. Forced to innovate, rather than assemble the works of others. To be really creative in the sense that they are forced to think about originality other than 'new' works that are actually no more than compilations of other works. Or does anyone think the work of Beethoven was actually a remix or a compilation of the work of Mozart?
