[...] Last month, the Euroscience Open Forum event in Copenhagen focused on "Science building bridges". I had the pleasure to be there and it allowed me to highlight the bridges we are building in Europe: between all the scientific disciplines; between researchers and the general public; between the laboratory and the market place, something which many of you are particularly involved in; between Member States; and between the European Union and our global partners internationally.
